Welcome to Mrs. Dillard's virtual classroom!
We will use this blog throughout the semester to communicate, challenge ourselves, and get a grade for it.
On a weekly basis, each class will have a blog post that focuses on the topics discussed in class. The link may be to a video on YouTube, an article in Time, or an image--whatever the link, just visit it & review it. I will have questions for you to respond to in the comments section of the blog post. It will be a simple way for us to collaborate online. Feel free to respond to your classmates opinions! This is a virtual round table discussion.
Things to keep in mind when you are posting:
- Be appropriate. Do not post anything offensive, racist, or mean-spirited. The blog is not for you to comment on how bad the teacher's hair is!
- Be respectful. If you disagree with the article or a classmate, state your opinion & support it, do not resort to a petty argument.
- Be on time. The comments are time stamped--in other words, I know when you post--date and time.
- Have fun. This is not meant to be another homework assignment. View this was a way to collaborate virtually with your classmates in a discussion. (I promise the topics will not always be boring!)
